Fall is officially here and temperatures will be dropping soon. School is back in session and football has returned. Falling leaves, crisp apples, pumpkins, sweater weather, and more are right around the corner. Fall also means that the arts and theater season has returned. Derek Fordjour is an American interdisciplinary visual artist and educator of Ghanaian heritage. Over the course of his career, he has emerged to become one of the most influential contemporary Black artists of our time. His portfolio includes paintings, sculptures, and other mediums. His works are shown in various galleries and are commissioned by numerous clients including Jay-Z, Beyonce, Drake, and recently the British royal family. He lives and works in New York City.
